Top Five Underused Google Services

Google provided too many services for us, such as webmaster tools, free email for own domain, document tools, etc.. But, we didn’t aware of all services provided by google because its too many or because we doesn’t need it.

In this post, I’ll list 5 most underused Google Services.

1. Google Labs - http://labs.google.com

Google’s testing ground for new products and services can be your Web playground. You can try out various offerings and e-mail your feedback to the company.

2. Google Pack - http://pack.google.com

This is “essential software” for computing neophytes. You can pick and choose from apps such as Google Earth, Norton Security Scan, and StarOffice and they’ll all be packed into one convenient download.

3. Google Translate - http://translate.google.com

Much more accurate than many translation engines out there, this service lets you translate either a chunk of text you cut and paste into the window or an entire site. Pretty much every major language is represented.

4. Google Custom Search - http://www.google.com/coop/cse

This service lets you create a customized search engine with your company’s branding or just search a specific set of Web sites.

5. Google Alerts - http://www.google.com/alerts

Keep tabs on an ongoing news story, sporting event, or celebrity gossip, or just find out if someone is trashing you online. Put in your search term and how often you want to receive alerts and the service will drop the updates into your Google Mail.
